Bo and Sara are two of the sweetest, most genuine, faithful, compassionate, and loving people I know…so you can imagine the overflow of love, joy and excitement as their wedding day arrived. The story goes that once upon a Sunday several months ago, Sara received a phone call from one of her church friends saying “your future husband just walked into church today”…little did either of them know at the time, that those words were so true…after some long parking lot conversations and a season of courting, Sara married that man, Bo…and I was so honored and privileged to be there to capture their wedding day.
Dear family and friends gathered at the Marriott in LaJolla, CA to celebrate the couple’s nuptials, including Sara’s grandmother all the way from Ecuador. Witnessing the blending and joining of two loving and welcoming families was such a treat. Every detail was filled with love and unique fingerprints, especially the beautiful flowers, created and arranged by Sara’s Aunt Olga. Bo is being deployed to Afghanistan in September with the Marine Corps so it was even more of a blessing to share much laughter, tears of joy and some truly special moments as Bo and Sara became husband and wife.
Bo and Sara, may your union be forever blessed, challenged, encouraged and cherished. Together, you inspire us all to be better people – in faith and in life – and I can’t wait to see where your marriage journey and adventure takes you!
